Economic impact
What measurable economic benefits and costs are expected from full membership?
Should Bermuda apply to become a full member of CARICOM?
This campaign is not telling Bermudians how to vote. It is asking that Bermudians be given a clear national yes or no referendum before a decision of this significance is made.
Signing means supporting a referendum, not taking a position for or against CARICOM membership.
ONE QUESTION. ONE REFERENDUM. LET THE PUBLIC DECIDE.
Full CARICOM membership could have long term implications for Bermuda. Supporters and opponents may reach different conclusions about those implications, and that is exactly why the public should have access to clear information before deciding.
The campaign's position is simple: publish the relevant terms, obligations, costs, exemptions and expected benefits, allow all sides to make their case, and then put the question directly to Bermuda's electorate.
It means you support giving Bermuda's electorate the opportunity to make that decision through a national referendum.

What measurable economic benefits and costs are expected from full membership?
What would membership mean for immigration, work permits and movement arrangements?
Which elements of the Caribbean Single Market and Economy would apply to Bermuda?
How, if at all, could membership affect existing protections and opportunities for Bermudians?
What recurring financial contributions, administrative costs and related expenses are expected?
What effects, if any, are expected for Bermuda's international business relationships?
How would full membership interact with Bermuda's status as a British Overseas Territory?
What treaties, commitments, exemptions and future obligations would Bermuda accept?
Read the Government's published material, review the arguments on all sides, ask questions, and form your own view.
The campaign maintains separate digital and physical signature records. These are combined and checked for exact name duplicates before publishing the consolidated unique signatory total.
If you signed digitally, please do not sign a physical sheet as well.
Volunteers give residents an opportunity to ask what the petition is about, read the wording for themselves and decide whether they wish to sign.
Volunteers are not there to tell anyone whether Bermuda should join CARICOM. The campaign's purpose is to build support for putting the question to the electorate.
Volunteer for a signing session →The strongest conversations are often the simplest: explain what the petition actually asks for, answer questions, and let people make up their own minds.
Sign up for a physical petition session or offer help with campaign logistics, outreach or administration.
No. The petition supports holding a referendum. It does not require a particular position on the membership question itself.
Please sign only once. The campaign consolidates the lists and removes duplicates before publishing its unique signatory total.
This website presents an independent civic petition campaign. It should not be represented as an official Government of Bermuda or CARICOM website.
No. Its stated purpose is to advocate for the referendum itself and encourage voters to review the available information before forming their own position.
